more pics

Dunno why the images are so small, but I'll try to fix it later as this computer isn't cooperating. In fact, to view all these full-sized and some additional, possibly more incriminating shots, you can visit my friends Rachel's photo album: http://www1.snapfish.com/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=43068555/a=52800849_3661338/t_=52800849
This is a great shot of traditional Issan dress and drums. For you music buffs, the party rhythm is a strong off-beat 8-count, bass beats falling on 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 1. It's great with all those huge drums and cymbols!

Then there's the phalli. This is my friends Merissa (she's about the same height as me, by the way). The police were selling these 'rocket launchers' as a fund raiser. Really, there's a hole in the end where you stick a bottle rocket. I'll spare you more graphic photos of these in action. =)

And here we are enjoying the sights at the rocket launch site. We have Tara, Alex, Bryn, Ryan and Emily.

After a few Leos we got creative with the mud painting.
I'm channeling the vision of the rain gods to cover Emily's face with tribal symbols, as she had done for me before. And there's all of us chillin' in our natural sunscreen: Rachel, Tara, Emily, Me, Bryn. Awesome.

Here's the ladies yet again, dancin' in the streets!
Good times, as ever.
